I have a problem with the larger barrel on the 17 PBook, as it fouls the psu socket, but it works fine for the Ti.

Those "Divx" codecs those sites want you to download and install are not meant for Mac OS X, but for Windows. The download site is not even the official Divx site, so it is safe to assume, that the "Divx" they offer you is shady and maybe even ridden with some kind of Windows malware, therefore you can't watch those videos.
There are plenty of ways to do it otherwise, but it is not allowed to talk about it here.

Not likely going to happen. Ethernet based hardware is quite a bit harder to design then USB hardware; and then the software on top of it is a bit more of a pain in the butt. Thus if they have no plans, it isn't going to happen. See if you can find any good ethernet scanners; then see if any of those have mac support.
EDIT : Epson GT-15000 Scanner seems to support OSX

I noticed the change to the 2D icon early today.
Got a "restart Chrome to update" alert and now it went back to the original 3D icon (which I prefer).
Did anyone experience delay in right-click?
Recently when I right click in Chrome (but not other apps), the menu pops up with a delay of around 1 second...which is quite annoying.

I would like to be able to offer free downloads of an iPhone app to a select group of users (for instance, people who have stayed at a particular hotel), but charge the general public for the app.
Apple limits you to 50 promotional codes per version of an app. The target audience I have in mind is quite a bit larger.
Can anyone think of a work-around?
Have you spoken directly with Apple? I don't know how many promotional codes you're in need of, but they may work with you.

I was wondering about that as my QR code reader can't read it.
if you clink on it, it will appear larger in a new window, should be easier to read.

Can somebody please provide me with some instructions? I don't understand how to jailbreak it AGAIN with greenp0ison.
I jailbroke 4.1 in november 2010 when there was that whole fight between greenp0ison and limer1n. So right now I have ios 4.1 with greenp0ison jailbreak.
Now I want to upgrade to iOS 4.2 and I don't know the process. Do I just use itunes to upgrade to 4.2 and then download new greenp0ison and run it?
Thanks!

you probably get away with what you have now regarding your using i movie
and i photo.
But I have just bought the basic 13 inch MBP i 5 and use this for Office applications and also i bought this for i movie has i do Downhill mountain
biking and have a Contour 1080 HD head cam and i do photography and just
bought aperture 3 on the app store for 44.99p sterling pounds and pennies
Now if i was to be buying the 2010 model, i would have had to buy their
15 inch basic model. But has the sales person in the Apple store the new
basic 13 inch model is equal of power so no need to buy anything bigger.
I dont do gaming on the laptop so the Intel on board graphics is fine.
Has i do this 42 inch wide screen style at home on me PS3.
What I did buy is a Samsung syncMaster 2333 HD TV/Monitor for the above.
So all i do is load up all my HD movies and photos onto my MBP then do all
my editing at home upon my return.

I guess you know about sbsettings and the Processes button which shows the running Apps. It doesn't show the actual processes but you can quit the running apps and there's the "Free up memory" button...
Maybe that's a start...
'Mobile Terminal' and the top command may show you the memory hogs.
I'm also interested in an Activity Monitor like App. So if there's something like that...

That looks like a mix of Battlefield and Modern Warfares IMO. I'm not too excited, MW2 was good in the beginning but killstreaks killed it. I will likely buy this but I doubt it can offer something like CoD4 did

Hello,
You could run OS X 10.5 Server on Power PC hardware. Unfortunately Apple does not support 10.6+ on Power PC systems.
OS X 10.5 Server is very good and you should be fine running this version for basic file sharing, etc...
Documentation on OS X server is available on the Apple site:
http://www.apple.com/server/macosx/resources/documentation.html
Most of the config for 10.6 is similar to 10.5 for basic settings.
Hopefully this is helpful.

Please try to visit this page:
http://demo.dennismadsen.com/ipad/example.html
It's 1170px + 50px padding. It's too big for the landscape mode. When visiting the page, I expect that iOS will zoom out and view the complete page from left to right. But I cannot see the last part of the right side on my iPad.
Why?

I have an early 2008 Mac Pro.
My drive sometimes won't read discs, I've used it so much. I want to buy a new drive. My question is, do I get a blu ray drive(not BR burner) or get a regular DVD burner, like a superdrive.
The price difference seems to be about $40-$50. What benefit is there to having a blu ray drive. I don't think I'll ever watch a br movie from there. And I dont think I'll want to rip BRs either
Thoughts? Advice?
Thanks

thats not too bad. They will probably be the last people showin up for the night, maybe some at midnight. I bet it will really pick up between 4-6. If anyone hits up the flatiron store, an update around the 4-6 timeframe would be greatly appreciated. A saved spot in line gets you a free bumper haha. Make your new iphone useable as a phone haha.

The walmart on the beach side will have 2. Yes 2. I'm here now using my phone to check the forum. I'm still the only person so someone come claim spot #2. Bring a pillow and a sleeping bag or something and a deck of cards lol. I need some company. The associate told me people keep calling but no one has came yet.

Do you know if can I extend my A express wireless network with another A express at the printer to connect with usb?
I know you can create a wireless bridge to connect ethernet devices, but I never looked into the USB.
